When an electric window stops working, the glass itself is often perfectly fine. The problem is usually in the regulator, the motor or the switch.
The regulator is the frame and cable assembly inside the door that carries the glass up and down. Cables fray, plastic guides wear and clips break, and once that happens the window can drop into the door, sit crooked, or refuse to move at all. Motors can also fail, and switches wear out with use.
We take the door trim off, work out which part has failed and repair or replace it, then set the glass so it runs cleanly in its channels and seals against the door frame.
A window stuck down is worth attending to promptly, because the vehicle cannot be secured or kept dry until it is fixed.
